Gin Kaijing Ong

I joined the Eltahir group in 2018 and am working on a project focusing on dengue fever in Singapore. In particular, I hope to develop a forecasting model for dengue fever in Singapore based on factors like urban housing patterns and rainfall. I am currently a first-year Master’s student in the MIT Computation for Design and Optimization (CDO) program, and had completed my undergraduate studies in Mathematical, Statistical and Computational Sciences at Yale-NUS College in Singapore. I had also spent 5 months at Yale University as a visiting international student.
