Comfortable Nights
“Comfortable Nights” are defined as the number of days when the daily minimum temperature falls within a user-selected range. Results are derived from an ensemble of NEX6 climate models under the SSP1-2.6 and SSP5-8.5 scenarios.
SSP1-2.6 assumes rapid development of renewable energy technologies and reduced reliance on fossil fuels (CO2 concentration of 432 ppm in 2100), leading to environmentally sustainable economic growth.
SSP5-8.5 assumes high fossil-fuel use and rapid urban expansion, with strong emphasis on industrial and technological development (CO2 concentration of 1089 ppm in 2100).
