I joined the Eltahir Group in 2016 to work on a project focusing on climate change in Morocco and the Mediterranean. Our goal is to shed light on the physical mechanisms responsible for the severe precipitation decline in this region. More generally, I am interested in explaining why the Mediterranean is so sensitive to global climate change and what can be expected at the regional level.

Prior to coming to MIT, I obtained a Bachelor and a Master’s degree in Engineering from École Polytechnique. I also spent 5 months at NCAR as a visiting graduate student.
